Christina Martens-Funk tribute to SCI Sask

Christina is a Chartered Professional Accountant, with experience in collaborative leadership, financial management, and governance strategy.

Christina currently works as Chief Executive Officer of Inclusion Saskatchewan.

She is passionate about social justice and creating a supportive and equitable community for disabled people.

Christina shares her sentiment and thoughts of Spinal Cord Injury Saskatchewan at our 60th Anniversary event:

"That’s what Spinal Cord Injury Saskatchewan means to me, is being this safe space. Being this place where I can talk about those struggles and I don’t have to explain why that’s frustrating or not okay, because you all know because you have all been there and done that, and have the same frustrations.

When I think about why this organization means so much to me, the biggest piece is of course the Peer Support Work that happens.

I want to thanks SCI Sask for being a safe space for us all and for keeping us all connected in ways like this. ”
